For the purposes of the PASSAGE project, a meeting with policy makers in the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute (CPI) took place on the 6th of June 2022. Τhe Head of the in-service teachers’ training department of the CPI and the Head of the Interdepartmental Committee of the Ministry of Education for integrating children with migrant backgrounds in the Cyprus educational system Dr Pavlina Hadjitheodoulou-Loizidou as well as Dr Evgenia Partasi, a member of the CPI staff and in charge with all the subjects regarding teachers’ training for teaching Greek as a second language and integration in primary education participated in the meeting.
During this meeting we discussed the designing on behalf of the CPI of the Work Package 4 of the PASSAGE PROJECT and the way we will work with the other partners to collect the policy recommendations from the participant countries and identify the policy gaps in pedagogical integration.
