The PASSAGE schema, with three categories of issues and challenges that current EU educational systems face in relation to supporting pupils with a migrant background, provides the educational challenge basis to which the PASSAGE proposal responds and addresses.

In this context, the purpose of PASSAGE lies in confronting these inter-related educational challenges through a carefully designed and scientifically based response, which focuses on supporting inclusive learning through the development of innovative methods and approaches to address the problems listed above.
