Every humanitarian crisis is also an education crisis

It is estimated that within the first month of the war in Ukraine, more than 3.5 million people had fled the country, and among them were at least 1.5 million children.
With education offering – beyond learning – a protective environment that can be rather important for children, UNESCO is mapping how host countries across Europe are supporting and providing education to Ukrainian refugees. In a dynamic context that quickly evolves as the war continues, some initial findings and dominant trends on selected themes, as well as country specific information, have already become available.
